SHIPPINGS PROMOTION

Every month a different shipping shall be promoted by the club. Submitting artwork of this pairing shall earn you 5 star chips instead of the usual 2.

This month we are promoting:

Nurseshipping (Mai x Shizuka) (written by: Vicky-V)

To me, this is one of those pairings which defines cute. It's also one of those pairings I love on both a platonic and romantic level. But seeing as this club is much more geared towards the romance side of things, let's take a little look at that, shall we?

These two help each other grow and through each other they get character development. Through her interaction with Shizuka, we see that Mai has a very caring side to her. She stays by her side, she puts her arm around her shoulders, she has Shizuka ride in the front of the car with her. She supports her. And that care is given back to her when we see Shizuka almost always at her side when Mai was in her coma state. Shizuka accepts the care Mai gives her and when they're together they're very relaxed and glad to be in each other's company. When Mai left the group, it was Shizuka who was the most visibly upset because she didn't want to lose her.

The characters connect very well and definitely have enough foundation for shippers to build on. Especially if you're a fan of the sweeter side.

Pretty obvious first, have love for at least one YGO ship (yes, that word is used in place of 'airing'. No point in joining a club based around YGO romance if you don't like any pairing now is there? You know it makes sense ^^
To join, simply send a note. You can leave a message on the front page but those can be missed. It's safer to note. Please add the club icon to your journal after doing so. The same goes for affiliating; note me.
Het, yaoi, yuri, even incest is accepted here. This is a club for ALL shippings after all. Mature pics are more than welcome too but will have a separate page (seeing as some people don't like that). With mature pics, just be sure to keep within deviantART's policy.
I will allow original characters, let's just keep 'Mary Sues' to a minimum.
To send in artwork, simply note the club with links to your artwork. I would greatly appreciate it if you gave what shipping it was too
There will be absolutely NO bashing of any sort here; that of members or pairings. This is a club of LOVE, not hate. I don't care if you think that Yugi is better with Yami than Anzu. I will have no bashing of any sort. All ships are sorted into their own individual settings so there will be no need to go shifting through stuff that you don't like.
With that said, I will refuse to take pics that only bash a couple. I also will not affiliate with anti clubs.
You break these rules and you get three strikes. After three, you're out. No excuses. Ignorance is no defence.
